Seeing Red

Seeing Red

All Deborah’s prints are originals. She makes the blocks and plates using a variety of techniques and processes. There is no one original print from which copies were made. Each is inked and pulled individually. She does produce small editions of prints but most of her work is unique: “one offs” or variants from a block. Seeing Red is a composition of nine prints using the processes of carborundum, collagraph and monoprint mounted on painted canvas which echoes the texture of the plates from which the prints were taken.
