Monotypes / Monoprints
Deborah’s monotypes form a smaller part of her body of finished work. The landscape monotypes are large one-offs, produced in her studio from her sketchbook drawings of the pathways and fields around her studio in Cockington.
The stags’ heads were inspired by the herd of deer at Knowle Park in Kent. Powerfully emerging from a dark background each of the stags have their own personal characteristics. Some of these monotypes have been enhanced with the addition of hand-colouring, and no two are alike or repeatable. All large monotypes are now sold. Greetings cards are available.
